Sermon Overview: The focus was on the importance of “truth” as a character trait—vital to sharing the Good News with others. People need to know that they can trust you to tell the truth. Otherwise, why should they believe what you have to say about salvation
Children's Sunday School: Topic—Trusting God, no matter what. Bible Story—King Saul schemes to kill David (God’s chosen one who was anointed by Samuel to be the next king). Memory Verses—“Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.” (Galatians 5:26) OR“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me.” (Palm 138:8)
Teens: Discussed fossil records and how they support Scripture.
Adults: Continued their study of Phillippians. Today’s topic centered around God’s promises to us when we face adversity. Even during difficulties, we are blessed!

Sermon Overview: Further explored the topic of “Grace.” We celebrated the fact that Jesus has prepared feast for all believers. The only thing we must do is accept God’s graceful invitation. In response, we should make a point to extend God’s invitation to others.
Children's Sunday School: Topic—David and Goliath. Like David, we must rely on God to conquer our “giants,” (life’s challenges). With God on our side, there is no reason to fear. Memory Verses: “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” (Eph. 6:10) OR “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).
